Terms of Use
License
Stampquill is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add details specific to Stampquill.
Not legal advice
Stampquill is a record-keeping tool. State rules shown in the app (fee limits, journal and thumbprint requirements, travel fees, fee exemptions) are reminders compiled from public sources, may be incomplete or out of date, and are not legal advice. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your commissioning state and for confirming current requirements with your commissioning authority.
Paper journal states
Some states require a bound paper journal for traditional notarizations. In those states, use Stampquill as a backup and business record alongside your required journal, not as a replacement.
Your records
Your data is stored only on your device. You are responsible for backing it up and for keeping exported journals, receipts and other records secure and for retaining them as your state requires. We cannot recover data that is lost from your device.
Subscriptions
Stampquill Pro is offered as an annual or monthly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. Free trials are available to eligible new subscribers only; any unused portion of a trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Warranty and liability
Stampquill is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including fines, claims or penalties related to notarial acts, fees or record keeping.
